* * *GET REAL… AVOID BLOCK TICKETS & Replicas, NOT VALID FOR ADMISSION:  1970 was the first year the NFL distributed unsold Super Bowl Tickets to NFL corporate sponsors/advertisers, participating Teams and VIPs in plastic blocks after the game. The unsold Tickets were attached with double stick tape to the plastic backs of “paper-weight” type plastic blocks which are know in the hobby as “Block Tickets.” — Less well know is the subsequent NFL printing of Block Tickets for Super Bowls I, II and III (Seat IDs noted above) for promotional purposes. — For Super Bowl IV (1970), in addition to the “Block Ticket” post-game NFL distribution of unsold Tickets, the NFL also licensed corporate “third-parties” to print replicas with Seat IDs:Sec. Z / Row 10 / Seat 12” and Sec. Z / Row 68/ Seat 50“, years after the game. These were produced for corporate advertising campaigns by several companies including: Sprint (Phone Cards), Circle K and Budweiser, and these pieces have company advertising on the backs of the Replicas.
RARE & VALUABLE! — Super Bowl tickets are rare and prices are trending up. For this Super Bowl PSA has only slabbed 79 Full Tickets and 59 Stubs since the PSA Ticket program began in 2003.
